The Hong Kong Listed Company Papers Collection is made up of documents arising from the issue of new shares, derivative warrants and debt securities, mergers and takeovers, repurchase of shares, company reorganization, etc., released by Hong Kong listed companies and financial institutions to the general public. These documents not only reflect the activities of listed companies but also the overall economic conditions of Hong Kong since 1947.

This online index is intended to facilitate the retrieval of listed company documents in the Collection issued between 1947 and 2003. Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) began to provide company documents in CD format since 1997, and then moved to online access. While HKU Libraries keeps collecting the listed company documents provided by HKEx in CD format for archival purpose, this index is updated only to 2003 since listed company information can now be freely accessed via HKEx website.
